that complex brain related disorders involve interaction of several levels or layers of functioning (e.g.: neurological, psychological, cognitive/intellectual, psychophysiological, metabolic/nutritional /toxicity. Thus, a comprehensive evaluation is important! Accurate assessment leads to effective treatment planning.
A treatment plan involves coordinating several specialty components in order to provide the level of care needed for complex brain-based disorders. The first phase for successful treatment is comprehensive assessment which integrates the body, mind and emotions.
The principle mission of the PNP Center is to provide a complete diagnostic plan with follow-up direction for treatment and training. Many of the behavioral medicine treatment needs may be provided through the PNP Center in coordination with other recommended services.
