PNP Center 2-Day Assessment

Through a comprehensive and multifaceted diagnostic assessment, a multidisciplinary team of health care professionals will find solutions to the variety of challenges in neurological, cognitive, and psychological development. Treatment resistant behavior, mood challenges, and attentional issues involve the interaction of several levels of functioning. A Comprehensive Brain-Based Assessment is necessary to find the aspects or layers involved in the presenting concerns. Information from each area of assessment is integrated and forms the foundation for an Individualized Treatment Plan or Game Plan.

The individualized treatment Game Plan is given in a written Final Report, which is tailored to the individual and his/her family following the 2-Day Assessment and at-home assessment, guided by a professional staff member. This process of integrating all these results generally takes 3 months to complete. The PNP Center professional staff also coordinates care recommended in the Final Report.

The PNP Center is accepting children, adolescents and adults with:
  • Attention Disorders including (AD/HD)
  • Mood Disorders, Bipolar Disorder
  • Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder
  • Depression
  • Anxiety
  • Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder
  • Memory Dysfunction
  • Sensory Integration - Autism Spectrum

PNP Center Assessment Process

The PNP Center assessment is a process that begins with an intensive, multifaceted, full two-day evaluation. At the end of the two-day assessment a Wrap-Up meeting is held in which basic Homework/Self-Work assignments and recommendations are made implementing new behavioral and psychophysiological methods at-home, along with suggested completion of medical lab kits. A PNP Center professional staff member assists in this at-home process as a guide and reference through phone calls and email contact. The PNP Center integration-of-results process continues pivoted on the basis of empirical findings from brain maps, cognitive testing, psychophysiological and psychological assessments. Testing results lead to recommendations and all findings are integrated by the PNP Center professional staff into a Final Report, which includes step-by-step treatment plan. Depending on the complexities, this process may last as long as four months with careful monitoring each step of the way. It is our mission to assure that the action plan contains strategies and relevance to each individual and his/her family. Follow-up, in the form of Teleconference, is held with patient and relevant family members to patient status, answer questions regarding the Final Report, and to plan future direction to discuss ongoing care opportunities.
